Mountain View Estates is looking like Christmas again! We appreciate the decorations and lights so many have done. It adds some color and cheer to all of the rainy weather we have been having. Thank you for "lighting up" Mountain View Estates!
As with the rest of the nation Mountain View Estates families have been hit by hard times. Some have been laid off and have lost their jobs. Others have sickness that prevents them from being able to work. Along with MVE, some of our residents have been collecting food to make care packages for families in need. We wanted to make all of our families aware of this project. If you are able and would like to be a part of this please let us know. We can give you more information on what we are doing to try and help out our MVE families in need if you can participate.
We have had a couple of families that have come to us to donate toys for children in the park. They simply wanted to help out the families that have lost their jobs at Christmas and felt that a toy drive would be a great idea. Again, most every family has been affected by the economy in some way. But if this is something you would like to contribute to please let us know.

We have our very own award winning baker that lives in the park. Noy Howard recently placed 1st in a cake competition in Chattanooga! If you ever need a cake, cupcakes, etc for any event please call Noy at 706-820-6361 for a quote or more information!

Our Halloween Party at MVE was a huge success this year! We had tons of food, games for the children and many met their neighbors for the first time. We appreciate all that came and would like to say thank you to the following for helping to make it a great success.
Paul Thennes for being the head cook....he kept the food going all night. Paul and the Chapmans for the chili. Bea Parr for the cornbread. We would also like to thank Bea for stepping up and playing games with the kids....she is a great sport! Mary Brown for also bringing cornbread. Noy Howard for baking the delicious Halloween cupcakes. Jennifer Keith for being in charge of games. The games were a big hit with the children. Thanks for all for your help!
