Animals. Everyone loves their own pets as they are great company and offer wonderful companionship. However, they are not able to clean up as they relieve themselves outdoors. When your unsuspecting neighbors step in it and track it inside on their carpet....well, it's not very good. So please, take a shovel or pan each time and clean up after your pet. This way your neighbors will not step in it while they are out walking. We appreciate your help in this matter.
There was a great response last month in regards to having resident campfires and get together's when it warms up. If you have a group, family and/or friends that you would like to plan a weekend night to host, please let us know. We will start a calendar and reserve the campfire for you!
We have an AVON representative in our neighborhood!! If you want to know more about AVON or ordering a product....please call Judy Austin. She can be reached at 706-866-0973.
A few of our residents are looking for extra work. If you know of any work available that we can pass along please let us know. We would love to help those needing extra work. Please contact us through this email address. Thanks.
We would love to post any announcements of your children's progress in school or after school if you like. Please drop off a printed announcement in the office door for the next newsletter.
During the Civil War, Rossville was known as the Rossville Gap, a "land gap" through Missionary Ridge Mountain, to the small town of Chickamauga, an unknown Confederate Stronghold at the time.
Rossville, GA is a Gateway into the Indian land grabbed area and a Gateway into America's Bloodiest Battlefield named Chickamauga.
This information came from a local website called www.rossvillega.com. It has a wealth of information about Rossville. If you have not looked at the website you should click on the link. It is filled with great information!

PRESSURE REDUCING VALVES.....FYI: Sometimes it is possible that the pressure reducer that is installed on your home can go bad. A pressure reducer is a valve that limits the amount of water pressure going into your home from the county water system.
A bad reducer may cause your faucets to leak. Or it can make your pop off valve on your hot water heater.....pop off. This will cause water to leak out.
When a pressure reducer goes bad your pressure in your home may rise
up to 150 psi (pounds per sq. in.) or more. This is not good. A good working pressure is around 50-60 psi.As a service for you at Mountain View Estates, I can check your pressure for you if you would like. Please call the office and set up a time. We do not replace the pressure reducers, but we may be able to recommend a person for you if needed.
As always we welcome suggestions and input on making this a great newsletter. Please let us know what you want in this..... because we want you to be a part of it!
